The key to satisfaction and productivity – engagement surveys
Many organisations are seeing the benefit of using Employee Engagement Surveys to gain an understanding of how individuals feel about a range of issues. Understanding and using this information is vital in terms of staff engagement, productivity and retention. We use an inclusive and tailored approach when working with client organisations, identifying and understanding their needs, their organisational culture and their strategic intent. This ensures that the questions, and ultimately the responses, reflect the information that the organisation wants to know.
We create and administer a survey that is uniquely tailored to the organisation’s needs and future state. The steps we take include the following:
- Meet with the organisation’s sponsors to understand their particular business needs
- Communicate with staff about the purpose and timeline for the survey
- Design the survey and distribute to staff
- Monitor response rates and work with the organisation to maximize these
- Analyse the survey results and complete meaningful reporting at an organisation wide, business unit and team level, where appropriate
- Present results to senior management team, and then to business unit managers
- Support managers to present results to staff and undertake action planning to identify key areas to work on
