Craig Wylie is a personal financial consultant, educator, workshop presenter and founding director of C Squared Consulting Limited (C2Consulting). He worked as a personal financial adviser for 30 years, prior to which he was a Chartered Accountant in Public Practice. Craig works with individuals and presents workshops for employers in the areas of Planning for Retirement, Financial capability and related personal financial topics.
Our employer clients come from the following groups: Government Departments, Local Authorities, Public and Private Companies (of all sizes) as well as Not for Profit entities.
Craig also project manages our national and other projects in addition to supporting our career development services in the area of CV writing. Craig and C2Consulting are independent of, and do not recommend, any financial products or providers.
Fees are based on time engaged.
Craig’s consulting expertise includes:
- Retirement planning* – discussion and guidance
- Personal financial planning* – discussion and guidance to assist clients to prepare their own plans
- Superannuation pay-outs – lump sum v pension and strategies for lump sum investments
- Redundancy – financial guidance for clients whose positions have become redundant
- Financial Capability – assisting employers to structure (and deliver) financial education packages for their staff

- Columnist for Evening Post (now The Post) on financial planning & investment issues for 6 years
- Former Branch and National Chairman of the IAFP (now Financial Advice NZ (FANZ))
- Former Member of the Certification Committee of the IFA (now FANZ)
- Many roles in Rotary at Club (incl President) and District level (awarded Paul Harris Fellowship)
